Our client is a 100% subsidiary of an international automobile manufacturer and is working on the next generation of in-car infotainment systems. Our client brings digital luxury to mobility users around the world. To accomplish this, he redefines how software is developed within the automotive field.
To further develop the growth we are looking for an experienced Function Owner Audio (m/f/x) for the team in Berlin. Work permit required!

YOUR TASKS
- Design, develop and test audio functions within a vehicle
- Definition, creation, coordination and evaluation of system and customer requirements for audio
- Defines KPIs and performance per function in alignment with system requirements
- Provide technical leadership for discussions and plannings with project/program management
- Cooperates with Systems/SW Architects, Software Development and Test engineers to ensure consistency relating to assigned function
- Collaborate with hardware and software development teams to ensure seamless integration of audio functions into the overall vehicle system
- Contribute in the definition of the interfaces of the customer function to the e.g. Overall Vehicle system, Communication, Hardware Design, Diagnostics, Configuration & coding
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and customers
- Provides the technical lead for a function review first test strategy, test list and test setup
- Provide technical lead to support customer meetings and test drives
- Ensure that all functions meet industry standards and regulations
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Eng. Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in the automotive industry, specifically in the development of audio and sound functions
- Strong knowledge of audio management, DSP, A2B bus, sound functions, vehicle systems, network and components
- (Profound) knowledge of automotive engineering processes and standards (ISO26262, ASPICE, …)
- Good programming knowledge of C/C++ and Python
- Experience with development tools such as MATLAB and Simulink
- Solid experience in the Area of Testing and System Requirements
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
